This Privacy Policy explains how the TCSe Ecommerce x Daal Ain application (“the App”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects data when a merchant installs it on their Shopify store. The App synchronises orders from a merchant’s Shopify store to our order-management and delivery backend.

1. Information we access

When installed on a Shopify store, the App may access:

Order data — order numbers, line items, amounts, financial and fulfillment status, and timestamps.
Customer contact details tied to orders — name, email address, and phone number.
Shipping address — including recipient phone, used for delivery.
Store / session data — your store domain and the access tokens needed to call the Shopify Admin API on your behalf.

2. How we use this information

To display your orders inside the embedded app.
To forward orders you choose to send to our delivery / fulfillment backend so they can be processed and shipped.
To prevent the same order from being sent more than once.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

3. How information is shared

Order data you send is transmitted to our backend systems operated by TCSe Ecommerce x Daal Ain (at tcse.com.pk) for the sole purpose of order fulfillment and delivery. We do not share personal data with unrelated third parties except where required by law.

4. Data retention

The App does not retain customer personal information (name, email, phone, address) in its own database. Customer data is read from Shopify on demand and passed through to our delivery backend. The App stores only the minimum needed to operate — your store session and a record of which order IDs have already been sent (to avoid duplicates).

5. Data deletion & your rights

We honour Shopify’s mandatory data-privacy webhooks:

Uninstall — when you uninstall the App, your store session is deleted.
Customer data request — requests to view a customer’s stored data are processed.
Customer / shop redaction — deletion requests for a customer or an entire shop are honoured.

6. Security

Access tokens and shared secrets are stored securely and transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Access to backend systems is restricted to authorised personnel.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision.
